For treatments requiring longer stays, expedited medical visa processing is available with hospital documentation.

Foreign physicians can be approved to practice in the zone in as few as 15 days, enabling rapid deployment of international medical expertise.
100% foreign ownership allowed
Since November 2024, wholly foreign-owned hospitals are permitted to operate in Hainan Province, opening doors for major international healthcare groups.
